Here is video of a Left-wing ambush gone wrong! A Progressive seeks to confront former GOP Sen. Alan Simpson in a hallway about Social Security. Simpson is the co-chair of President Obama’s “Debt Commission.” I don’t know what the liberal activist expected, but Simpson answered every question he asked and made it clear the guy didn’t know as much as he thought he did.
“If you can’t get through this stuff, why do you spread this crap?”

He says social security will go broke in 2037 and people will only get 75% of their benefits.

That's because the money was opened to being used for other things. People still think it's a separate fund that's untouched. It's not. I don't recall how long ago it was that it was raided. Or who did it. And Simpson made the point that more is going out than coming in and the lefty didn't get it. Simpson said they had to get money 4 weeks ago, which added to the deficit, just to pay SS benefits.
It was never in a lock box.
That said, so many people are out of work and retiring earlier than expected that they are in big trouble.

You certainly can’t hear Simpson as well as the liberal asking the questions. But I caught a lot of what Simpson said in response.
Exactly. Simpson took this guy on by talking about the facts, unlike Etheridge. The facts were not on Etheridge’s side.
