Sarah Palin: Restoring Honor Rally and Charity Auction with Glenn Beck
Sarah Palin Facebook Notes ^ | June 16, 2010 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 06/16/2010 10:43:11 AM PDT by Virginia Ridgerunner

I am so excited about the upcoming Restoring Honor rally with Glenn Beck on August 28th in Washington, D.C., right on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Glenn and I will be speaking at the rally, and I hope you’ll be able to join us. You can visit the Restoring Honor Facebook page here for all updates.

You can also help us raise funds for some amazing true American heroes by joining me and Glenn for breakfast on August 28th before the rally. Visit this website to bid on a fun morning with both of us, and remember all proceeds from this auction go to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, a non-profit charity serving the children of our fallen heroes.

Bid on the auction! Come with an appetite! And see you in D.C.!

So we have on the one hand, a guy who is said to be conservative. By a handful of posters I know nothing about.

And weighed against this evidence, we have the fact that the poster in question has chosen to hammer away at a few cutting edge political issues, and his position happens to be in opposition to the general conservative position. And these are among the issues that would advance conservatism the most.

Limbaugh and Palin are at the forefront of the real advancement of conservatism. To oppose them repeatedly on thread after thread, again and again, whittles the possibility that you are conservative down to a tiny splinter. And there have been other key topics.

So as you can see, the first bit of evidence is very, very weak when weighed against the patterns shown in his posts.

Gunner doesn’t oppose Palin or Limbaugh.

He opposes Blind faith

The new feller has spoken.

Sorry gunner, I guess we can’t be friends anymore.

It’s my opinion that, that is true.

I must say, I have been ripped a lot for asking critical questions instead of just jumping on a bandwagon here on FR.

HG really hates blind faith. JMO

Read this again.

“the poster in question has chosen to hammer away at a few cutting edge political issues, and his position happens to be in opposition to the general conservative position. And these are among the issues that would advance conservatism the most.”

You can be friends with whoever you want as far as I’m concerned.

You have missed it entirely.

If he hated blind faith, he would criticize blind faith. But instead, he cuts away at the cutting edge of conservatism, in a way that gives maximum support to the leftist cause.

Sarah has major obstacles to overcome to run for office.

The biggest being that she quit her job as Governor.
Oh, I understand why she did it, but there it is..

Pretending that she is going to be the nominee is goofy.
She is doing a great job as a celebrity and a private citizen.

I hope she gets filthy rich in the process of firing up the base.

Hey gunner!

It's cool, the dude says it's OK with him if we stay friends.

I sure hope I am allowed to stay off of the band wagon, whatever it is this week. Remember not so long ago Scott Brown won Kennedy's Senate seat and the bandwagon folks here were shouting from the rooftops, "Scott Brown for President." Then it turns out he voted for Odinga Care. Before that they were squealing like pigs, same as Palin folks do if anybody questioned Brown.

In other words, screw the bandwagon nitwits.

You’re absolutely right.
By refusing to bow down and worship a radio host and failing
to cheerlead for an author who isn’t running for any office
I have shown myself to be a troll of the lowest order, worthy
only of immediate banishment, or worse. Even unto flogging.

I urge you to immediately contact Jim Robinson and the Admin Moderator
and make them aware of this confession that I may be swiftly
and justly punished as I so richly deserve.

Actually, so great is my regret that I shall contact them myself.

I most humbly submit my bared neck to the chopping block.

“Pretending that she is going to be the nominee is goofy.”

This gives you away. Now there is no question you aren’t what you pretend to be.

Look at Palin’s following, and her sort of uncanny state of immunity to the usual media criticism. As a sincere critic of Palin, the most you could say is “I hope she isn’t nominated, but she sure is leading the pack as of now.”

You’re not guilty of “refusing to bow down and worship.”

It’s the fact that all your posts over the years against Limbaugh or Palin have been personal attacks. This is not sincere commentary.

It’s the same thing when you reply to anyone who questions you, or any of your cronies, who seem to pop up out of nowhere. It’s always personal attacks with nothing substantive.

Good Lord, now you are telling mylife what he can say?

Just who the hell do you think you are?

You remind me of a liberal of the worse kind.

Is that you obama?

Hey. I supported Sarah 100% in 2008.

I even tried to defend McCain as “our only option”

Palin is forever tainted for office now as a quitter.

Do I love the gal? Yeah.
Would I have done the same thing? Yeah.

Is she being effective as a private citizen? Bigtime
Is She making money? Bigtime

But she will not be the nominee.
If she is the quitting thing will sink us.

her sort of uncanny state of immunity to the usual media criticism.

This is a direct result of her quitting the governors office.

She is now a private citizen and can sue for libel.

It's at the core of why she quit office.

She aint running again.
