Well, he did burn his bridges in Texas for as his sausage business goes. His corn suppliers and hog producers went co-op and held out for higher prices...he wouldn't pay and moved his operations up north.

For those of you that dont really know Jimmy Dean he was a royal jerk. OK, it was over a week ago that he died, but that man is from my old home town in Plainview. I never met the man, but I knew a bunch of his kin when I was in school out in the Panhandle. Some of them prolly still live around here in the Metromess, I know they used to. And I've met a bunch of Texans over the years who didn't think he was that bad a guy. All men are jerks, as far as I know. I know I am, sometimes. So backoff Arkie, say nothing but good of the dead.
