Here, let me spell it out for you...

What scared Shadowstrike the most was that the “knew his name” when the agent picked up his call. What came 60 or so posts into the thread is his admission that he entered his SSN/Acct # during the origination of the call - WHICH, alerted the agent to who he was.

That’s the “logical lunacy” of this thread... Everyone is so ‘big brother’.

Biblical or Spritual Leader references have NOTHING to do with Wachovia mistakenly posting a test message on their Voice Response system and then having the gall to know, by name, who is calling them.

This thread is an example of the lunacy that makes FR look bad in the eyes of the general public.

1. That you remember... Selective memory /rhetorical
2. Problems that occurred where MINOR compared to what was crowed about on this very forum. Gas/Oil was not going to flow, Nuclear plants where going to go in meltdown.

4. I don’t find your paranoia “attractive in the least”, but then again I’m not a paranoid person who believes that I can do anything to stop the world from ending. I am prepared to meet and be judged by God.

that caller ID could have easily identified him.

alarm to Shadowstrike was that the person knew who he was.

Shadowstrike did not assert that it was that or that there was an emergency plan or that November was involved.

ASSUMING—like that—is dumb.

Jumping to conclusions and brazen assumptions about paranoia without adequate information and research is just as dumb.

And . . . as the old poster asserted . . . just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean that they are NOT out to get you.

Content of the post indicates the question is: what is going to happen after Nov 1 that Wachovia knows about that we don't? Hence, the paranoids came out in full force to assert "Martial Law", Big Brother this and Big Brother that, and Spiritual Leaders all have said the world is going to end soon so this must mean that Wachovia knows... Which is why I posted that this thread needs to stop.

Yes, you posted a guess that caller ID could be the source of the name, but as a person who supports these types of systems that would not be the case. I knew immediately that an acct # or SSN was entered via the phone. Secondly, his post was all about the fact that his name was used (note the bold text and his emphasis on the word "nerve"). Nowhere in his first paragraph about the unusual message did he use bold text.

But you're right, I'm just dumb and cannot have a dialog with you because I am dumb and don't know what you know, or is it that I'm dumb and I don't have a grasp of the English language. Did I fail to understand that you think I'm dumb? Talk about brazen assumptions...

Yes, you jumped to yet another conclusion.

I said that certain ASSUMED conclusions were dumb—to me—they were.

I don’t consider you as a person dumb. You seem to be well above average in IQ.

Wait -- First of all what 'freaked me out' was not that the agent knew my name (although considering I was using the automated service I shouldn't have been in touch with an agent) what concerned, or unnerved me was the message itself the most. Even Marines get a 'nervous Nellie' moment. And you're giving me grief over the word 'name' having been in bold? As for the word 'nerve' being in bold, that was part of a very old Marine Corp saying... "Marines don't have nerves...just nerve. Translation we don't scare easy, we do the scaring.
