Called Wachovia early this morning to reorder checks. In the process, I must have hit a button I wasn't supposed to.
The next thing I hear is a recording. "As of November First, all emergency procedures will be in place, and all Wachovia personnel should stay with their families. If you have any questions, please contact your Sector Supervisor."
Now, I'm not a nut, but the next thing I know an operator came on the line and asked me, by name what they could help me with. Got me looking over my shoulder, and I don't have nerves, just nerve.
Or at least wear their glasses?
I am not assuming at all.
As someone who understands the technology and bank call center processes, this is pretty much SOP. Sloppy SOP (that stuff is supposed to be erased) but it is standard.
And the “screen pop” technology is as simple as your caller ID at home or on your cell phone. The reason the customer doesnt usually experience it is because the bank needs to verify your ID three ways prior to allowing access to your account. The screen pop is simply the first way.
So, if you understand the technology and the process there is really nothing to see here. Really.
And I love a great conspiracy...but this is just sloppy Wachovia work. As usual.
>>Or at least wear their glasses?
Heh. Been there did that ;-)
Yes. That’s the one. Thanks.
I’m assuming that your technical description of such is accurate.
And, I say again, you are ASSUMING FAR MORE than our O.P. Shadowstrike did.
You are AT LEAST ASSUMING that your purportedly accurate description of such realities
is the key and only significant OPERANT ONE in this situation.
Perhaps as an extremely confident-to-the-max LT
you are unfamiliar with the fact that
individual, personal cognitions are not 100% congruent—certainly not always—with “objective reality,” whatever that is.
OK, go ahead and believe that some $15/hour clerk knows more about the coming apocalypse than someone who built these systems and knows how they are operated.
Its been a long, long time since I was a LT. I was able to retire about twenty years before everyone else because I was THAT good at my job. Remember, the simplest answer is the usually the correct one.
But, go ahead and believe the world is coming to end in November. Of course, the rest of us know that it is actually going to come to end in 2012!
(I am saying this tounge in cheek....)
Have a wonderful day....
You’re still missing the point.
Utterly missing the point.
You appear to be blind to the point.
I’m NOT ASSUMING that EITHER you or ShadowStrike has a 100% accurate understanding of what the call resulted from or signifies.
We do not have enough information to make either assumption.
It is plausible that you are right. It is plausible that you are wrong.
BTW, November does come up in the webbot predictions as a benchmark/mile post of some sort.
You may have been a super hotshot in your job.
However, I’m not sure, given your gift for assuming such omniscience, that I’d want you leading me anywhere near any kind of significant mine field.
You may have exhaustive and supreme understanding of such technologies and systems. You may have retired tops in your industry. I could easily believe that.
You seem to have a deplorable amount of insight into the bloke in your mirror. That’s not the greatest habit to have in a complex interpersonal environment.
BTW, God is planning to overhaul, cleanse the earth . . . not yet utterly destroy it. We don’t even know what a NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH will fully mean.
And all the indicators of any significance that I’ve been scanning indicate that the next 6-18 months or more are going to be the most horrendous ever to befall our land or the planet.
All of the planet? Not likely, only a third of the waters became bitter...
Nostradamus predicted fire in the sky at the 45th parallel and destruction of the new city, garden to the world.
Portland, the Rose City, is within walking distance of the 45th parallel..
Oh, no. I understand that I might be wrong. Thats OK. This is not that big of a deal.
What I am trying to do is explain through my experience what happened. When a person has something out of the ordinary happen to them—especially when they have not idea how they got into that position—it seems weird, and almost supernatural.
In the case it sounds like the same message we used to post for employees to call in on and find out if were were going to be open, and whether or not they should report for work. What sounds ominous, is in reality, a regular part of “our world.”
My point was not meant to 100% eliminate all other possibilities. However, if you had some insight to the reason why something happens does it make sense to examine that first—rather than allow people to jump to very dangerous conclusions.
I am not 100% sure of my conclusions. But in “my experience” there is a reasonable explanation for what this person heard on the phone.
Really, arrogant and cocky are not words that are usually used to describe me. I apologize if I came across as inflexible. There are plenty of things in this world that are worthy of examination. This doesn’t seem to be one of them.
I have never been a gloom and doom guy. I am pretty well educated on things like the end of the world prophecy. Just in the past few months has it started to really concern me.
So I do not disagree that “something” is coming. I just don’t think the technician managing the IVR at Wachovia has an inside track. Does that explain my thought process a little better?
That's a great question. As far as I know, the 9/11 prediction in 2001 is a piece of hearsay. It is referenced everywhere, but I can't find an actual excerpt of the original ATLA report, if they even existed at that time. When I spoke to Clif about a definite prediction score card, he said that he doesn't really care or keep track, that's something other people can do. He's more interested in tuning the data structures and back testing to more accurately filter and relate the subconscious linguistic data. Frankly, I understand exactly where he's coming from. The web bot system is a lot like seeing gauze through a Vaseline-coated lens. You can tell vague shapes and directions, and retrospectively determine what you were looking at once it manifests, but in its pre-event sleuthing mode, you are really only given generalities.
This is where Clif's interpretation both supplies details, and completely muddies and misses the point.
It includes the atmospheric contamination as well.
Shadowstrike ~ They ask for your account #, then your SS. Then they give you a 1 thru 5 list to do your business.
Would you please give us your account #, and your SSN so we can test it ourselves?
Praise God for that!
Interesting.
Compare to Rev 8...
That’s much more reasonable, to me.
Much relieved and encouraged to read that post and to get to know you better.
I was getting a bit concerned. That’s why I racheted up my fierceness.
Given, for me, that the webbot stuff and the Christian prophetic sources and a number of governmental whistle-blowers and academics and other reporters and comentators are all saying similar things about the next near horizon . . .
my concerns have escalated, too.
God have mercy.
