I have been doing that since the late 1980s, thank you. I have attended more than 100 congressional hearings on immigration and border issues and have written extensively on the subject, in particular, the sloth and cowardice of Congress and our political classes in general for failing to deal with this invasion, which I have experienced first hand, and the amount of American taxpayer funding that has gone toward accommodating illegal immigration, and Mexico. I have participated in countless seminars and town meetings regarding this subject. You really ought to watch the way you order other people around in complete ignorance of their interests and activities. And don’t tell me how to think.
I went back and read my post. I don’t see how you can take personal offense at my comments. My position is that GOP candidates must show meaningful support for closure of the border now, during the elction.
Is that something you disagree with?
On your work since the 1980’s, that is commendable and the 100 congressional hearings you have attended on the subject is impressive. Clearly, though, something in the past approach is not working.
I suspect that if we wait until after the election on this issue, it will be another 30 years and 100 more hearings without the border being closed.
It is time for us (voters) to vote to close the border. Any candidate that will not commit to closing the border and take action to close it during the election process will not under any circumstances get my vote.
