I tend to agree, but for the general election, we need to get someone even slightly more conservative into power. Next election we can fight the primary fight again for a more conservative candidate.

Six years of Boxer is definitely worse than six years of Carly. Sarah sees this and appears to have chosen who she thought was the most conservative likely to win in given races. I disagree with some of those choices, but I understand them.

We didn’t wind up with our current situation in a single election, but incrementally over many, many years of elections. It will take incremental moves back to sustain true conservative change. We just need to assure a continued drive toward that conservative goal and have to start somewhere.

I supported and gave plenty of money to Queeg even though I loathed he and Lindsey Graham.

I am old. The real world is nothing new to me.

I adored Sarah Palin like no one since Magnus.

I still like her and will support her but my blinders are off.

too many I(s)..lol

If we get the chance to vote for Palin and I hope we do then we will be asked to vote for perhaps the most socially conservative GOP candidate in our lifetimes..mine’s half century plus

what if we had gone wobbly and supported the more “practical or electable” candidate instead of her?

if we are hopefully asked to stick with the most conservative and that hopefully being her then why hasn’t she consistently?

i think she is trying to expand her base beyond people like me and you personally...
