Good One, since even way back in the day...Hagar the Mother of the Arab People WAS Egyptian.

And her son Ishmael took an Egyptian wife.

So the seed of Abraham through the line of Ishmael got Egytianized TWICE (at least!)

True point, Hagar was an Egyptian daughter.
Though, today's Egyptians are mostly Arab invaders, whereas the oppressed-by-Islam Christian Copts are the INDIGENOUS Egyptians. But your point is valid, especially in the sense of immediate-origin.

By the way, Abraham was told that his promise of the land to his children will ONLY be via Isaac:
Abraham had been assured by God that “Your seed will be called through Isaac” (Gen. 21:12), i.e., Isaac (and not Ishmael) would father a great nation
