Regardless of whether you like the Beatles or not, you have to admit that after Paul and John stopped collaborating on music, Paul's music took a decided turn towards bubble-gum-pop-rock-crap.
One guy who has been around as long as the Beatles, never received the same level of popularity, but whose music is far more creative and versatile (compared to post Beatles Paul), running the gamut from soft/mello jazz to Rock to R&B to Blues and whose music has improved with time (though his last three albums have been disappointing).
