Governor Chris Christie makes news again with his courage on taking on one of the most powerful and corrupt unions in America the Teachers Unions!
Parents and children who are being failed by a public school system whos costs are exorbitant and whos results are insulting, deserve a choice! There are over 5 million children trapped in over 10,000 failing public schools around America I use the word trapped directly. They are trapped by an educational buraecracy, they are trapped by a selfish, self-interested, greedy school union that cares more about putting money in their own pocket and the pocket of their members than they care about educating our most vulnerable and needy children around the country!
He goes on to call New Jersey public education a disgrace and exposes his predecessor for being in the pockets of the unions. Enjoy, this is guts on display!

I don’t know much about Christie other than a few soundbites...but is this guy a presidential possibility?
From what I understand, he says he is not interested in running for President. I think he’s pretty solidly conservative on social issues too- but I would like to explore that a bit further. On fiscal matters though- he is right on!
Yea, I don't want to lionize someone I don't know much about on just the basis if a few soundbites, but in those he knocks it out of the park...so I was just wondering if people who follow NJ politics might offer more insight into the guy.
Ya mean the teachers’ unions have interest other than $ and have some sort of interest in educating students?
Geeee.
Whoda thunk it?
very true... although I can honestly say he is way more than soundbites. What he has done for New Jersey is pretty amazing. I wrote an article about it a couple of weeks ago. Here is the link if you are interested in reading it. http://www.libertyjuice.com/2010/05/18/falling-in-political-love/
New Jerseans pay more per student’s education than any other state except New York, and it’s a very close second place.
The average grades from the state that pays the least are only very slightly below New Jersey’s, yet Jerseans pay 3 times as much.
And these thieves want even more money!!
Slightly off-topic, but shouldn’t “whos” be “whose”?
you are right! My spell check didn’t detect that and I was typing way too fast to notice. Thank you!
I’m told he’s not so good on gun rights or abortion. Looks like he’s probably not nationally viable. That’s OK, though. We need him right here in NJ.
Excellent article. I did see one thing that Christie has wrong, he said the reporter was the thinnest skinned guy in America", but that is Obama. The reporter will have to be the 2nd thinnest. Thanks for the link.
Ha!
That's too bad...well, he seems to be kicking butt in NJ and good for him...and NJ.
My opinion on education is in my tagline.
Those are the harshest, most pointed remarks I’ve heard Christie make yet.
I am guessing you did not have a lot of playmates when you were young.
I’m telling you, this guy is my new hero!
Christie/Brewer 2012!
