The Thought Police are alive and well in Arizona (and it has nothing to do with immigration).

For those who haven’t thought much about the implications of “hate crime” legislation in the past, here is yet more evidence that those in power wish to control not only your actions, but your thoughts as well.

Talk about sending the wrong message to kids.

This kid is now going to become a gang banger instead of a rocket scientist, thanks principal, yours will be the first house he firebombs.

Parents who love their children must never let them anywhere near this government school.

I wish the article would have stated the reason the brain-dead principal gave for suspending the boy. This is outrageous!

I almost commented on this as well... I think an underlying problem was that the kids were walking to school. However, the article doesn’t specify the ages of the kids walking together, or if older siblings were walking with them. So I decided to let it go. But you’re right, it’s a possible parenting fail.

In the U.K. they would have called the cops and the kid would have spend a couple hours in a cell. But somehow, it doesn’t seem like luck that we haven’t sunk that low yet.

The kidnappings are almost entirely conducted against illegals who haven’t paid their drug or human smuggling debts. “Kidnapping capital of the USA” is a misleading title - it’s true, but only among a certain subculture (future Democrat voters).

Things like this are to be expected when the school industry is socialized and no longer a capitalist, free market system. People whose lifestyles are being subsidized whether by using government schools, government housing, AFDC, etc., have no room to complain.

Dad should have gone down to the school and “Jap-slapped” the principal. Perhaps leftist, whack job “educators” would make fewer moronic, PC decisions if Mom and Dad took matters into their own hands a little more often.

We need to get rid of the public “school” system.

Even though I remember walking to kindergarten with my friends, I can’t imagine any parent letting a child do it these days.

My state had a homeschooling convention last week. They had more participants this year than they ever had before.

One of Georgia’s leading gubernatorial nominees this year is a big proponent of school choice, as well. There is definitely a growing reaction against the stupidity of the liberal educational system. The ability to shun idiotic behavior and leadership would definitely put a needed kick in the right place.

I am Joshua’s mother and he does not walk to school by himself. There is a large group of kids on our street that walk together plus his older sister that is 11 walks with him.

That is good. I have a 12-year old neice who I wouldn’t let walk to school by herself. But that is more her than anything.
