South Park’s fan base is an example of the power of the lowest common deoniminator. We can only hope it will soon run its course and pass into obscurity.

However, supposedly, we now live in a time of tolerance. Correction ... we now live in a time of "moral relevance" where anything goes. We dare not become interlopers on another's views as evidenced, for example, by those who have approved the construction of a mosque at the site of 9/11 where the worst terrorist attack on the US took place ... an attack by none other than fundamentalist moslems.

And great episodes, like Manbearpig! Anything that skewers Al Gore is great!

In all fairness, the author failed to mentioned that Buddah was snorting cocaine.. The main purpose of that episode was to point out the double standards..

Are you kidding? Its been on what ten years? Pass into obscurity, hardly, even if its cancelled, it will run 20 years in rerun.
Besides it can be really funny.

I think one of the funniest was the when the people from the future came and started taking jobs at low pay. Oh, wait and the one when all the rich “blacks” moved in.
Ok, most episodes are hysterically funny.

Someone from Illinois should issue a fatwa.

THe World of Warcraft was great, and the cartoon wars with Mohammed was great and yeah, the only bad one I can think of was the Oprah one.

Personally, I happen to think that the Good Lord has one hell of a sense of humor coupled with a great appreciation for the absurd.

I was just thinking about all the years of SP and there was the Trapper Keeper.
Its a good show. On occasion it is to much so I do something really strange......I change the channel. ,-)

South Parks fan base is an example of the power of the lowest common deoniminator (sic) detractor base is an example of people who are too slow to get the humor and take refuge in self-inflating moralizing. Fixd.

Southpark can be brutally shocking and offensive at times but one thing it consistently lampoons is moral relativism.

Who is this “we”? South Park is funny most of the time and has a libertarian bent.
