Sarah Palins father and brother, Chuck Heath Sr. and Chuck Heath Jr., have endorsed Republican gubernatorial candidate Tim James for governor of Alabama.
Chuck Heath, Sr. says, Im all for him. Hes my kind of guy. Im very impressed with him.
Heath met with Tim James earlier in the year at the Rainy Day Patriots TEA Party rally on Tax Day, April 15, in the Birmingham area. While there was some political conversation, the majority of the time was spent by the two men talking about their mutual love of hunting and the outdoors.
James said upon hearing the news, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the Heaths earlier this year. Just like Sarah Palin, they are down-to-earth people who love our country, believe in true conservative values, and know the importance of taking care of the natural resources our country has been blessed with. I am thrilled with this endorsement.

I love Sarah but she needs to rethink this - Tim James is NOT who I want for Gov......Bradley Byrnes is the man!!!!! (Plus he’s said that he’d cut Nick Saban’s salary in half and fire him......come one....who would want an Awburn grad for governor!!!) BTW, his father was one of the worse governors we ever had down here.....
Is James the best conservative in the race? It’s to the point where I’m entirely uninterested in who Palin endorses, or who the “Tea Party” candidate is. I will support whoever is the best conservative, even if s/he is the “establishment” candidate passed over by Palin.
BTW, his father was one of the worse governors we ever had down here.....
I am thinking the AEA has a PAC against Byrnes.
I know nothing of these guys...but from what others are saying (and because of AZ and CA), I certainly wonder how long Sarah thinks she can get away with this crap.
RollTide and he can”t cut Sabens salery, hell he’s worth more, we are number 1 you know! not like obozo

I’m sorry, maybe I’m missing something here but where does it say SARAH PALIN ENDORSES TIM JAMES??
And now the idiot is trying to say the same thing....whether it was a joke or not, he said it....hopefully this will ensure he’s going to lose in the primary.....Bradley is great.....he will be a great governor....and yes, I do believe that Tim is in the pocket of the AEA.....
What the hell is she doing butting into AL state politics anyway? Maybe she thinks because they are next to each other alphabetically that should count for something?
Uhhhhh
The Palin blog folks might want to read that James’ press release a little more carefully before they throw a story title up.
Sarah Palin DID NOT endorse Tim James according to the press release. Her father and brother did.
Not the correct title:

Sarah Palins Father & Brother Endorse Tim James
“Furthermore, you might learn to read before reacting in a knee-jerk fashion.
Sarah did not endorse him, her father and brother did.”
Sorry - I simply looked at the headline. I’ve just gotten a bit tired of trying to explain away her choices (like McCain, in particular).
Dude, seriously, take your Ritalin.
I was making general statements, to the effect that a Palin endorsement doesn't mean anything to me, just as a "Tea Party" endorsement doesn't. I plan on thinking for myself, and making decisions about candidates myself, since there seem to be lapses in judgment on the part of the people who used to be the go-to people for credible endorsements.
If you want to be a Palin fan-boy, knock yourself out. I intend to think for myself, instead.
I’m assuming you’re joking....
Oh I'm so suuure that's what she was thinking.
Unbelievable.
You.
