I am about 3200’ elevation, so won’t flood, except where the roof leaks.
As for location this is a poor choice, I am a mile from the intersection of highways 93 and 68, both will have the californians on them and in those tiny cars, they can make it here on a tank of gas.
What many do not know, is that Kingman was the evacuation
point for Tucson and Phoenix, at the beginning of the cold war, something about the mountains and winds, between them and San Diego, that the nuclear material would dump on them, if San Diego was hit with a nuke.
Then that would have meant 20,000 people and we had a Civil Defense Center in our courthouse basement, not any longer.
I doubt if there is even a 2 day supply of food in Kingman, as nothing grows here, it is all trucked in.
Our water is from 2,000’ deep wells.
Best bet for folks is to get prepared and stay put.
WOW.
PRAYERS FOR THE LEAKY ROOF.
Are folks—loved ones and nearby folks—planning on helping you with that? How many leaks in what spots?
