When you think Shephard Smith can’t outdo himself — he does. Here is video of Smith talking to David Biello, of Scientific American Magazine, about the impact of the Gulf Oil Spill Crisis on the region.
Toward the end of the video, Shephard Smith says:
“This could end up being the story of our generation, couldn’t it? Bigger than the attacks on the World Trade Center, bigger than most anything . . .”
The Oil Spill is a terrible ecological disaster. But to compare this crisis to an act of war against the United States that killed 3,000 Americans in a single day, and resulted in the nation being at war against Islamic Jihadists for more than 8 years now, is just bizarre.
