Wouldn’t stopping your car for just a stop light actually use just as much, if not more fuel than idling it?

Yes, stopping the engine and starting it again likely uses more fuel than the short duration of a stop light. Very stupid idea.

Wouldnt stopping your car for just a stop light actually use just as muchNot if it is in good tune. It is one of the techniques my fanatic gas saver daughter does to get 50 mpg from her 2002 Honda Civic.
