The interpreter stated that he used the work “migration” from Mexico versus immigration. I not sure if that’s true, but I do wonder if he looks at crossing our border as simply migration from Mexico - likes it’s a natural thing to do, sort like birds.

This debate is about controlling our borders, ending illegal immigration, and the hypocrisy of the Mexican government.
The Mexican people are oppressed by corruption and criminals. I can only hope that the Mexican people arm themselves and take on the crooks when they have had enough.
The only Mexican immigrants I know came here legally and are some of the BEST American citizens I know.

You are confusing illegal immigrants with Mexican-American citizens who followed our laws.
As for charity, I will be happy to contribute arms and ammo to any Mexican citizen who wants to fight for their freedom and overthrow their corrupt government.
Maybe I am a little sensitive about racism. When I was young I was targeted for death by Democrats in Texas because I spoke up for the civil rights of black people.

First off, the remark was not racist. It’s a classic line from an old movie most of us know about. I just changed it a bit, so chill out, or maybe you don’t have a sense of humor.
I’m an American taxpayer since 1964, and I’ve paid a pile of money to help support this country, among other sacrifices.
When I hear of illegal’s coming into this country and demanding benefits and rights, and education off of the American taxpayers back, it really pisses me off.
I don’t have anything against Mexicans personally, just don’t try and claim my country, come here legally, and pay your fair share.
If you’ve never seen illegals, you must live in some place they haven’t found yet. Not too many of them left.

I DO have a soft spot in my heart for Mexicans.
ALL of my employees at my manufacturing company are Mexicans with green cards or Mexican Americans. My company could not run without them. I have tried hiring Anglos and struck out every time. Apparently, most Anglos think they are too good for hard, dirty factory work while such work is considered manly in the Mexican culture.
You and I agree on the issue at hand: Close the borders, enforce the laws, and deport those who are here illegally.
You and I will also probably agree that Calderon is a hypocrite, MECHA and the other Aztlan groups are racist commies, and immigrants from other countries have just as much right to compete for legal immigration slots as Mexicans.
