>There is no reason to continue with the interview or search. You have someone who is uncooperative, at a border crossing or point of immigration.

You contradict yourself right there.
Either there is no reason OR being uncooperative _IS_ a sufficient reason.

Also, does questioning the motives [or intentions] of someone qualify as ‘uncooperative’?

>An uhinged person? Mental Case or just retarded? We don’t know until we investigate what their problem is.

Um, and who are you, or they, to determine any of those cases? Are they trained to diagnose such? Are such illegal? Moreover, is there sufficient cause to think that they would be a harm to Citizens?

Also, this is again SOME reason; remember you are defending “No Reason.”

What is your real problem and dysfunction?

No contradiction but the for the convoluted logic you want to entertain yourself with.

You ALWAYS get interviewed at imigration and they escalate questioning based on cues such as being a Canadian Asshole, uncooperative, little lies, cutesy answers, etc.  Just like cops, will ask more questions, every time you tell something that doesn't square with sane people or safe people.

Also, does questioning the motives [or intentions] of someone qualify as ‘uncooperative’?  No doing do "flippantly" is for children or criminals.

Who are you to determine any of the cases?  Are you trained to diagnose such?  They can hold you, on reasonable suspicion and investigate you further, arrest you for being stupid or just acting like you should be on "America's dumbest criminals or they can deny your entry.

Nope, you are inventing "No Reason".  I would have held them and asked more questions based on his behavior.  He did get rather docile once he understood the gravity of his situation, what the cause and common denominator was... Him.

Bottom line, when you go another country, you are a guest and should act appropriately.  If you act nice, you are going to be treated nice.

If you are an asshole, well...they got places for those types too.
