He misspoke. What he meant to say was that we have learned something important since the days that he protested against the war in Vietnam. We have also learned something since the days I was a hippie smoking pot and growing it in my back yard while getting back at 'The Man'. We learned it was fun to be 'The Man' so that's why I'm running for the Senate.

Although the gentleman is a liar, that’s not the worst of it. Mr. Blumenthal is technological nincompoop.
He’s still living in a bygone age when every word a politician said wasn’t broadcast around the world in a flash.
