Music City Keep on Playin A Benefit for Flood Relief airs tonight from 7:00 10:00 p.m. Central on GAC (Great American Country).
Musicians volunteer to help Tennessee flood victims to recover from widespread flooding affecting 52 counties in the Volunteer State which has been roundly ignored by the President of the United States and the national media.
Sheryl Crow is among the latest mega-music stars to add her name to the line-up of musicians who will perform live (in all time zones) tonight in a concert and telethon designed to aid middle Tennesseans devastated by recent floods.
The event will take place in Nashvilles venerable Ryman Auditorium the original home of the Grand Ole Opry. The host for the benefit are TV star and Nashville native James Denton (Mike of Desperate Housewives) and middle Tennessee resident Kimberly Williams Paisley. Stars scheduled to perform include Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, American Idol favorite Kelly Pickler, Rodney Atkins, Christian artists CeCe Winans and Jaci Velasquez. ...

Most of those artists make their home in middle Tennessee. It sure would be great to see them reach into their wallets and help others like Sumner County resident, Taylor Swift did, when she gave $500K out of her own pocket to help the floor relief effort.
If they start a telethon for Arizona, we're sunk.
