Two private investigators working independently are asking why President Obama is using a Social Security number set aside for applicants in Connecticut while there is no record he ever had a mailing address in the state.
In addition, the records indicate the number was issued between 1977 and 1979, yet Obama's earliest employment reportedly was in 1975 at a Baskin-Robbins ice-cream shop in Oahu, Hawaii.

Him working in an ice cream store 4 years before a SS number was issued to him is no big deal. A lot of illegal immigrants are able to find work without having a social security number.

Like so many laws that Congress passes, they exempt themselves and other federally elected office holders.
The only slave labor in the country happens right on Capital Hill. They work their interns to death, and never pay overtime - they don't have to because they've exempted themselves from virtually all the employment laws that they pass for the great unwashed.

Unfortunately Social Security numbers are not infallible. My daughter was born in California, where her social security number was also issued. But the number begins with 606 which is assigned to Iowa. Go figure!
