This is what a true conservative leader does.

Excites the base, draws in large crowd, while continuously taking the fight to the enemy.

But when does she announce her own candidacy? It better NOT be Fall 2011 because by then Romney will have it, much like McCain vs Thompson 2007. January 2011 would be ideal.

Those so-called “news reports” were pathetic hack jobs. Funny how Obamsky was presented in 2008 as “popular” but Palin in 2010 is “polarizing.” Polarizing=really popular among conservatives while scaring the bejesus out of libs.

Unlike Thompson, Palin already has much of a campaign organization in place (Team Sarah. Facebook followers, etc.). To my knowledge, no one, including Mitt, has formally announced yet. If you remember, Thompson held off announcing until after the primaries started.

Maybe we ought to concentrate on winning this November before we consider other future plans.

Good thinking. If the GOP doesn’t win in November, there might not even be elections in 2012.

Sarah is sticking to her own plan, which is to reform the GOP. She done some things that conservatives disagree with, but she’s doing the practical thing. The Establishment has been pushing for the Tea Party and conservatives to form a third party. They know, as does Sarah, that that will mean a Democratic (Commie/Socialist) control for the next 40 years. Sarah also knows that reform the GOP, or run for POTUS, you need mountains of $$$, and lots of political connections. Some of those connections are deals with the Devil, but it can’t be helped. That’s the D.C. power game.

I said January 2011 not now. It would make no sense to announce now with an election coming up. Thompson held off till Fall 2007, similar to Fall 2011 for 2012. That was because he wasn't really interested. If we get to late summer 2011 and she still hasnt announced one way or the other, we are in trouble. No, she is not coming in at the end of the primary and sweeping up. It wont work.

As Sarah is proving, POTUS isn’t the only way to be effective. In fact, it can be quite limiting. Once you become “the establishment”, here’s really nowhere to go but down.

She might be better off remaining a concerned citizen and holding our servant’s feet to the fire.

I’m hearing rumors that she will announce on Reagan’s 100th birthday.
