One should never threatened anyone with violence-male or female. By saying it was worse because it was a woman is to imply that if it was a male violence would be appropriate.
It also says that a woman is to be excused for her stupid actions because she is a girl. If she is going to open her mouth and say something incendiary then she deserves what she gets.
