“I’ve got 5 acres, a big box full of seeds . . . and a shoulder that keeps giving out. What’s more, my 5 acres is an hour’s drive from my house. Pray for me, I could use a little help. “
Pray for me as well, I’ve got more acres but 2 hours away.
Why is it that us older people have the resources but not the energy to use them?

Holy Spirit led networking . . . planned and prepared ahead of time or spontaneous by HIS SPIRIT at the time
will probably be crucial.
If you are part of a church, cautiously research who may be in your present area as well as near your distant property and who may be in between or know who may be in between.
If you had a number (8-16) safe houses to go to enroute to your property, it could be important.
You might also explore a church in the area of your property.
There might be 1-3 young families who’d be happy to trade sweat for a portion of the food and safety.
GOD BE WITH YOU.

Believe it or not, I really wish age was the problem, then I'd at least have the memories to look back on.
I suffered a back injury a month after buying my land, and just as I was recovering from that something in my neck/shoulder went screwy and caused dizzy spells that baffled every doctor and made it look like I was having a stroke.
In January of this year I found myself learning to walk for the third time. If I even tilt my head the wrong way I get so dizzy I can't stand, I've taken a few falls because of that. There's a pile of medical bills stacked up. But, I just got a part-time at-home job that's a lot of fun. I'm making historical clothing for a local time traveler's supply store! Doesn't pay much, but it's a start.
I just need help getting my garden tilled and planted. Good thing I'm stubborn.
