A firm with a good business model and no liquidity squeeze won't be driven out of business by a massive volume of puts (which have a buyer and seller involved).

He hasn't shown it either.

Sad for some I guess, but Wall St. trading is not a haven from God's morality. And innocent stockholders are the ones who are hurt. Bad behavior by C-levels is no excuse to steal more money from stockholders and create ramifications that harm others, even outside of that firm, even entire markets.
