Do you really think if Fiorina goes to D.C. that after a while on the cocktail party/dinner party circuit that she is going to lead or even materially support all those “backward, icky” social conservative positions that she somehow never found the intellectual and moral courage to defend before she decided that life after being forced out of HP was boring?
We already know she isn’t much of a fiscal conservative because she supported the bailouts and isn’t on record as far as I know opposing the 2009 CA tax increases. I’d rather trust Romney on abortion and guns...AND I DON’T TRUST ROMNEY AT ALL.
Fiorina is an empty skirt, an affirmative action accident who spent her time at HP “meeting the press” because she didn’t know how to run the company. She likes being in the limelight and that is the reason she is running. If Boxer had retired, Fiorina probably would have run as a Dem. Her support of the racial shakedown racket is a clear indication of that.
I believe you are sincere and desperate to have a social and fiscal conservative to face Boxer, but Carly Fiorina isn’t it. Yes, you can quote her campaign positions, but these are views that were NEVER in evidence before, and she has a reputation as a treacherous liar. There are many on this board who know what kind of person she really is - and they commented on it before Fiorina decided that she would enjoy being a Senator.
