Sarah has made headlines again! She’s correctly assessed the race. Out of staters forget that we’re talking California, which has continued to repeatedly re-elect the evil, radically Left-wing Boxer. Even Carly will have her work cut out to defeat the dirty campaign Boxer always runs.

Yes, and thanks to them, I think I’ll vote for Fiorina in the primary...har!

You can tell many are not reading Carly’s stand on the issues from this thread, just posting away with what
they want to believe.

Since even Reagan could not win in California today

Speaking of Reagan, I'm now reading Reagan's Revolution, the story of the 1976 campaign against Gerald Ford. Another great slice of Reagan history from Craig Shirley.

He has an amazing story and quote in the book. In early 1976, then San Diego Mayor Pete Wilson campaigned for Gerald Ford in New Hampshire and said that Reagan was "the worst Governor in the history of the state". Six years later, Ronald Reagan went to the mat for Wilson in his Senate race in CA.

Reagan not only sensed the changing tides in CA but he also understood the importance of not letting Moonbeam Brown anywhere near the Senate. Thus, his support for Wilson. Shirley recounts that some of Reagan's closest confidantes never forgave Wilson for that statement. Ronald Reagan, however, got past it for the greater good.

Sarah is channeling Reagan more and more. She wants Boxer gone, bad.

Recounting those years of Reagan, he always saw the big picture.

Again, many on the hate Sarah posts are looking at the world through a straw.

Have they got us all convinced that a real conservative can’t win in CA? We’re on the verge of a grassroots conservative tsunami in CA and we’re going to be organizing around Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina? I don’t think so. Most of the Tea Party people will stay home. Our beloved Sarah has just done more damage to the Tea Party movement in CA than all of the derision thrown at us by the left if her endorsement leads to Fiorina winning the primary.

Tea Party people are not going to support a candidate who doesn’t even bother to vote and then expects to be elected Senator.

I had real real issues with Palin’s support of McCain, but this move by Palin is brilliant. She endorsed the right person given the situation, turning a looming loss for conservatives into a potential big win. And good timing.

"She wants Boxer gone, bad." Exactly. A real proponent of cap-and-tax.

She... has a 100% NRA rating

Um... Not so fast. AFAIK, the NRA in California has not released any candidate ratings in any race in this State.

I've enjoyed reading most of your comments in the past excopconservative, insightful and interesting, but DeVore can't win the primary, nor would he win against Boxer. And Fiorina and DeVore aren't substantially different in my view. This is both good politics by Palin, and good for conservatives as Boxer going down to a reasonable Republican is a big win.

Did you speak to all the conservatives in California, if so you missed my view on this.

Having worked in Reagan’s campaign with he first ran for Gov. and have followed politics and world affairs for
over 50 years, Sarah Palin is spot on.

You chose not to read the article to this post, if you did, you wouldn’t have your uninformed views.

I read the article, but I don’t believe everything I read. I know she supported the stimulus and later denied that she had. I know she supported John McCain’s Cap and Trade plan and now opposes it. She has no voting record to be accountable for and during much of her life, she hasn’t cared enough about any issue to go to the polls and vote. I know she’s very tight with McCain and he may have had some influence in getting her this endorsement.

Sarah has every right to make whatever endorsements she would like, but she may have shot herself in the foot with this one. Those Tea Party supporters who are avid DeVore supporters are the same ones whose enthusiasm she will need in 2012 to get the nomination.
