Here is video of John Stossel talking to Bill O'Reilly about whether or not President Obama is actually a "socialist" or not. Stossel said he would call Obama an "arrogant interventionist":
"I’d call Obama an interventionist. An arrogant interventionist. He wants government control over health care, banking, energy, education, and the auto industry. He has “lawyers’ disease.” Law school misleads lawyers into thinking that smart bureaucrats can successfully micromanage life with paper and procedure. He wants to increase regulation everywhere. Those are terrible ideas."
O'Reilly said it is clear Obama wants to take money from the well-off and give it away through government action.
Stossel said "central planning" is taking over as opposed to individual planning.
Everyone keeps dancing around the world "socialism" because the Government does not control all means of production in the country. Obama's philosophy clearly is "socialistic" in that he is moving the nation toward socialism and if he could, I am convinced he would impose a fully socialist regime on America.

NObama is that and more. But mostly he’s a narcissist.
I work with a guy like that. He believes enough process, procedure, oversight, reporting, paperwork (aka "artifacts") will guarantee a good software project. In the end, all it takes good architecture, design, and coding. Everything else just gets in the way.
It isn’t just the socialism.
It is Obama’s goal to undermine America’s status in the world and destroy the Constitution.
I saw that exchange and O’Reilly said that he didn’t know if Obama was arrogant. I guess O’Reilly is so stuck in his own arrogance that he cannot recognize it in others.
Dang it, missed O’Rielly last night. Hubby wanted to watch American Idol instead.
The control freak in the Whitehouse is a lot more like a Fascist to me. It's like the robber barons of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, except this time instead of fighting the gubmint they are the gubmint......

I don’t think it’s that O’Reilly doesn’t recognize Obama’s arrogance. No one is as sensitive to another’s pride as someone who it proud - the more proud they are, the more they recognize it in others.
I believe the reason that O’Reilly won’t acknowledge it is not because he doesn’t see it, but rather because if he does acknowledge it - he exposes and condemns himself.
The arrogant almost always defend the arrogance of others. They have to.
I’ve observed this first hand in many situations in my 65 years.......

You may be right. However, that statement from O’Reilly spun me around on my heels (while cooking dinner) because that is the one character trait of Obama’s that seems to be unversally accepted.
