The audience seem afraid to laugh. Either there were no cocktails served or people are just plain scared to be seen in belly laugh mode when the subject is Obama.

It was downright weird IMO.

It remineded me of the show Cabaret (sic) where in the one scene they did the show and the camera panned out to the crowd and there was only nazis, and they were not laughing.

Yes, not a lot of laughs. I thot he tip-toed, too. Obama turns my stomach. Great joke about John Edwards, tho: “A trial lawyer who turns out to be a sleaze-ball. Who would have seen that coming?” And I liked his Cash-for-Flunkers program, where you could turn in a low-achieving kid for a model student, and get up to $4500.

Think I’ll put that one up at school.
