I love it. I am sick of being visually assaulted by english and spanish signs on everything in Lowes.

I was looking at DVD players a few weeks ago and had to turn one box around several times before I found English writing. It was actually on the side I first looked at but was hidden by so much Spanish.

BTW: I learned English BEFORE I came to the US; I thought, well, gee, it was the right thing to do do in order to, well become an American, be accepted, get absorbed by the community, be able to contribute, be productive, etc....

Those blankety-blank Eng/Span signs are everywhere in KS not only in Lowe's, grocery stores, CVS, Walgreens and of course Wal-mart but the abomination happened when I was in Home Depot and heard what amounted to a "blue light special" spoken over the PA in Spanish!

I was so disgusted that I stormed out passing the Customer Service desk and loudly stated, "This is America, speak English!"

The spanish signs seem bigger than that english ones.

I figure it’s a private business, it can do as it wants. But I certainly don’t have goodwill towards HD about it.

Shouldn’t people building homes and stuff here know the language enough to find “electrical” and “paint”? Put up a picture if it’s so darn confusing.
