Protest organizers on Wednesday said outrage over the Arizona law -- which seeks to drive illegal immigrants out of the state bordering Mexico -- has galvanized Latinos and would translate into a higher turnout for May Day rallies in more than 70 U.S. cities.
"The marches and demonstrations are going to be far more massive than they otherwise would have been," said Juan Jose Gutierrez, a Los Angeles rally organizer who runs an immigration assistance company.
The backlash began on Friday after Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed into law a measure that requires state and local police to determine a person's immigration status if there is "reasonable suspicion" they are undocumented. Critics say it is unconstitutional and opens the door to racial profiling.
The crowds on the streets, from Los Angeles to New York, could be the biggest since 2006, when hundreds of thousands of marchers urged former President George W. Bush to overhaul federal immigration laws. He tried, but failed in Congress.

Commies, Mexican racists, liberals and the like are some of the stupidest people on Earth. Especially Mexicans, no offense to educated, law-abiding, hard-working, tax-paying Americans of Mexican descent but your average, illiterate , uneducated,selfish illegal Mexican hasn’t got a clue as to how a society based on the rule of law works marched in the streets across our nation four years ago waving that damned buzzard rag of theirs and disrespecting our flag all the while demanding to be made citizens. They and the stupid commies had to be told how much that pissed Americans off so in future ‘’rallies;’’(near riots) they were told, told mind you, to wave American flags. This is an example of how stupid these people are and I expect they’ll exhibit the same stupidity again. I certainly hope they do so the American people can get a good look at what these people are really all about.
Ideal circumstance to use crop dusters to fog them with sterility causing gas, liquid or powder!!! In addition, ad a dye to mark them for easy identification to be picked up and deported!!!

Well, if they are well organized and carrying those signs about how they want to take over America - don’t you think Calypso Louie is going to get a little pissed? Anything could happen and probably it will be innocent ones who get hurt.
I don’t think counter protesting at the same time is a good idea. It would be a good time to fire up the grill, enjoy! We live in a great country, set up some lawn chairs and watcg the show.
