Here is video of President Obama yesterday commenting on the issue of Immigration, particularly the new Arizona law.
Obama criticized the Arizona law as "ill-conceived," and one that will likely lead to the "harassment" of Hispanic-Americans in the state. Obama is slamming the Arizona law despite the fact his own Justice Department is still reviewing the new law!
Obama said it is time to make the "11-12 million" illegals in the United States "take responsibility" by forcing them to register, pay a fine, and learn English as part of a "comprehensive approach" to the problem.
What he is describing is a path to citizenship (amnesty) for what is undoubtedly far more than 11-12 million people in the United States illegally.

a "comprehensive approach" to the problem. So the word "reform" is out and replaced by the word "approach"?
We'll show Obama how we "approach" the problem Nov. 10th.

If this is the same clip Mark Levine was playing the audio from yesterday... Then obama is flat out lying. Again. No surprise there. He states that someone can be harassed and their papers checked just going out for ice cream. This is
not a power the law provides. As Mark put it, obama is either a moron, or a liar. I believe he is both. obama is a sociopathic narcissistic liar, and he is a moron if he thinks we still believe his bald-faced lies.
PS - Mark mentioned FR in the lead-in for that piece.

Sounds like pandering for votes. So much for Ellis Island.
Just jump a fence, wade across a stream, drive across a point on a map and pay a fine and whammo......you are a citizen.
That is not a path.....that is insanity.

Of course Obama is in favor of illegal immigration:
That’s how HE got here after all!

No, Odumbo, it is time to round up the illegals and send them back where they came from.

Obama said it is time to make the "11-12 million" illegals in the United States "take responsibility" by forcing them to register, pay a fine, and learn English as part of a "comprehensive approach" to the problem.Hmmmm...there's a problem.
How do you
force someone to perform the voluntary act of registration?
And wouldn't you have to identify someone before you could force them to do anything?
Besides, isn't going through the process of gaining legal entrance into the US a voluntary act?
I think there's a disconnect.

There already is a path to citizenship. You can find it at
www.uscis.gov. The path is clearly stated and you can even download the forms you need to get the proper visas and other required paperwork. I went through this entire process with my wife not long ago.

“Obama criticized the Arizona law as “ill-conceived,” and one that will likely lead to the “harassment” of Hispanic-Americans in the state.”
So, when I get stopped for a traffic violation or decide to not paying taxes and they come after me, that’s HARASSMENT?
dumbass.

...forcing them to register, pay a fine, and learn English as part of a "comprehensive approach"... Did he say "learn English"?
That's so insensitive!

Thanks, not sure what happened. I haven’t added a link in a while. I must have had a typo.
