Yes. But did you notice the discrepancy with the dates? Originally, she stated that she babysat for him when he was an BIG 7 month-old and her own daughter was 18 months old. Then she said that her daughter was born in July 1959. Do the math.

Only after it was pointed out to Jerome Corsi at WND and he re-interviewed Toutonghi and questioned her math, did she suddenly change her story. Then the original reporter changed/updated her story.

A woman, who was young and a new mother herself at the time, should remember very well whether she’s babysitting two infants in diapers as opposed to one 7-month-old and her own child who WOULD HAVE BEEN 2 1/2 years old in spring 1962, not an 18-month-old. A 2 1/2 year-old is probably potty trained.

How did Stanley Ann find this apartment so quickly after giving birth? Why do some reports state that she lived in a student dormitory (Laurelhurst?) before moving to the Capitol Hill apartment? Do you think student dorms allowed for infants, back in 1961? Mary Toutonghi, although she said she managed those apartments, can’t remember when Stanley Ann moved in.

Do you know that Toutonghi now lives in Alaska and was interviewed in 2008 (prior to the babysitting story coming out)? That interview involved how Obama and other Democratic campaign yard signs were stolen from her property. So she was a supporter of Obama, and yet, when her yard signs got swiped, she didn’t mention to the reporter who covered that event and wrote a story about it, that she once babysat Obama.

Odd timing. Wouldn’t you say? Mary turns up in a story in Sept. 2008 and then in early 2009, another story appears where Mary suddenly remembers that she babysat for the man she supported for POTUS in 2008. We’re apparently supposed to believe that, having heard the name Obama in 1961/62, having babysat for a white woman named Obama who had a black baby, that when he first ran on the Democratic ticket, she didn’t realize that the man was the same as the child she supposedly babysat. Right.

So far, the only people who claim to have seen Barry the baby in Washington are high school friends (Democrats and most of them teachers, for some inexplicable reason) and this babysitter, who can’t get her timeframe right.

Curiously, Toutonghi also told the reporter that she has NO photos from that time. From when her own daughter was a baby. When she herself was a new mother. No photos. Sound plausible?

About as plausible as the high school friend whose 1960 yearbook couldn’t be located. And the 1960 high school yearbook from the public library that also coincidentally went missing.

Make of it what you will. It’s all curious and nothing with Obama is ever simple. Nothing ever hangs together. Does it?

Oh, sure, she just happened to find Dreams in Soldotna, Alaska (population 4,200). Did the blogger interview Toutonghi or did he just do a re-write from other sources? That makes a lot of difference in getting facts and dates correct. Fred - It's stretching it, but could Toutonghi be shortened to Tout?
