I was surprised the Republicans stood up to the Dems today. They rarely stand up for anything anymore.

Thank those (or "us", however it applies) Tea Party rascals.

I think some country club GOPers fear that the tea partiers resonate with main-street America, and this forces the established GOPers away from their instincts to be collaborators and sell-outs and obedient cowards who live in terror of the "news" media's wrath.
