Never said they weren't but your claiming I support iloveamerica just because I pointed out he only used the embed link which is meant to be used in the way he used it does not mean I support his efforts.
I also pointed out by having people embed your video on many points on the net helps it go viral which in my book is a damn fine thing. The problem is you object to people using excerpting when you don't even realize Free Republic doesn't allow embedding and when a blogger wants to discuss a video he needs to either try and describe the video or provide a way for the reader to see it and excerpting works fine especially when you are using multiple videos and pictures to make a point. (It saves alot of effort redoing all the HTML especially when you consider most blogs use Widgets to post pics and vids meaning you can't just "select all" and then control "c" if you want to post the pics on FR AND still it doesn't allow you to embed the video)
And finally you object to people linking back to their blogs when Free Republic has set up their system so it will work exactly in that fashion being they want to avoid Copyright problems.
So to summarize you are complaining about something the owner of this site has no problem with being he went out of his way to set it up in just the fashion you are complaining about.
