Instead, Lets give away Illinois to Canada. At least everything North of Springfield. Its already on the border. Its politics is corrupt as corrupt can get. And as a bonus, I am sure Michigan would love to throw in a little something themselves. How does Detroit, Ontario sound?

Detroit, Ontario would solve a lot of Michigan's problems, heck. we'd immediately get two non liberal senators.

The only exception is we should be able to keep the Red Wings, since most of their support comes from the suberbs and other parts of the state anyway...........

Hmmm .. I went after Hawaii because they obviously want to continue the charade in not releasing any birth records, thus, they must be as bent on destruction of the united States as zero is.

It's a problem, certainly and best dealt with a pair of scissors (cut a state loose) rather than trade off an injured reserve player.
