I read that part three times back when this started and still am not sure exactly what happened and when. Too bad a good journalist hasn't gotten hold of the story and gone there to interview real people about the timing and relationships.

I refer to 1960 and 1961 as the “Wonder years,” because I wonder what really went on with Obama's antecedents.

I don't believe anyone knows what happened, and that includes Barack Obama — especially Barack Obama.

What happened between Anna's high school graduation, and her showing up at Susan Blake's house two weeks after Obama's birth is a complete and total mystery.

The only one that knew was Madeline Dunham.

I also believe it was Madeline that was the hand that rocked the cradle.

She paid for Anna's housing, food, education and bills while her beatnick daughter was in Seattle. She paid for Anna's lawyers. She arranged for Obama's scholarship to Punahou. She paid for Obama's trip to Hawaii in 1971 -- and his lodging and bar bill while he was there. I also believe she paid off Senior for whatever the Dunhams brought him half way around the world to do. She got Anna into the international sub-prime busines, etc., etc, etc.

That's why she was tucked away. She knew where all the bodies were buried -- and I believe it was her idea to hide from the press -- not Obama's.

OK, but isn't that true for someone born in Panama of two American parents, too? McCain didn't taken any steps and I doubt Panama considers him a citizen today.

Seems to be a pretty well written summary of the status of the controversy.

He too disagrees with your assertion that McCain is not qualified by virtue of being born in Panama.

In any event, subsequent rulings by Congress and enacted by federal statute affirm that children born abroad by parents who are both U.S. citizens are not only U.S. citizens themselves, but are recognized as “natural born citizens.”

Absolutely not. Ronald Reagan was born in the United States. Both of his parents were American citizens. "At birth," he was subject to the laws and jurisdiction of only one country, the USA. Reagan was a "natural born" citizen.

"At birth," McCain was subject to the laws and jurisdiction of two countries, because he was born in a foreign country.

The same is true of Obama. "At birth," Obama was subject to the laws and jurisdiction of two countries, because his father was a foreigner.

This isn't even a subtle distinction. If you can't honestly see the difference, I throw my hands up. In this case, you are either simply looking for an argument, or are a dedicated Obot.

Exactly! Obama should have been vetted before becoming a senator. McCaskill, it is said, loved Obama and wanted to be his V-P. Obama didn’t just “surface.” He had been groomed for politics since early in the ‘80’s. See Newsmax.com, Sept. 3, 2008, Ken Timmerman, “Obama had close ties to top Saudi adviser at early age.” His family, friends, mentor, etc. were all communists or sympathizers and many were Muslims.

Eventually much closer to the CIA via his mother and grandfather Dunham and likely stepfather Soetoro. Someday I hope we will know the full story of his business in Pakistan/Afghanistan/Russia through Zig Brzezinski and David Rockefeller and others who funded his education/bought his degrees. I think Obama will not allow November elections unless he has them rigged. He may create a crisis and declare martial law. As Chairman of the UN Security Council, he may browbeat the Dem majority to forfeit our sovereignty (joining NAU or ICC, etc.) if he realizes his (and their) deception is about to be exposed and prison time is imminent, so he can call in UN troops.
