You should have seen my students’ eyes get big when I told them the founder of Earth Day was a murderer! I hate to get all political in class, but I mentioned that I can’t separate the doer from the deed and had no intention of celebrating a day created by a killer.

I love leading the misguided to the truth!

To celebrate earthday this year I took my new galvanized metal trash can out in my back yard and filled it with junk mail and my used vacuum cleaner bag. THEN I set it on fire and let it burn.. The fumes from the hot galvanized metal killed at least 3 spotted owls and maybe 2 or three snail darters.. I can still smell the toxic fumes now. : )

We must start an anti-Earth Day day. Every October 22, people must make a point of doing something to upset environ-mental-ists. Cut down a tree. Burn something. Leave the lights on an extra hour.
