California is stern up and about to slip beneath the waves.
I don’t call the massive property taxes and huge sales taxes we pay “moderate.
The taxpayers of California have it in their power to fix this. Either fix it or move out of the state - those are your two realistic choices. I moved out of the state, never to return except to visit relatives.
I think we’ve located a large part of the problem.
On AI last night they had a segments based in Calif, where a working TEACHER had to go to a food bank to help put food on the table for his family.
Now just why does this idiot Lockyer think that problem exists?

Well - we ARE taxed “modrately” compared to what the rats would like the rates to be.
Doesn’t the California Constitution require it to submit a balanced budget by June 30th?

To a Dem, any tax rate less than 100% is “moderate” and we mere peasants should be thanking them for their generosity in letting us keep anything at all.

The CA state dems are absolutely convinced they could solve all our problems if the could just find a way to get more tax dollars out of us. They are also convinced we have plenty of money.
