Believe it or not, we have an extremely strong contingent of conservatives who aren’t able to help themselves but are willing to help others!

I believe it. I suspect, like most of the country, even in CA, conservatives outnumber the moonbats. The various referendums over the years that I've payed attention to almost always break for conservatives. Why this conservativism doesn't manifest itself in the elections is a curiousity.
