By almost every conceivable measure Americans are less positive and more critical of government these days, according to a Pew Research Center survey released Sunday.

Pew describes the political environment as "a perfect storm of conditions associated with distrust of government -- a dismal economy, an unhappy public, bitter partisan-based backlash, and epic discontent with Congress and elected officials." To this description, I would add the fact that President Barack Obama seems to be playing the role of a "rainmaker" much like his two Democrat predecessors, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, did (see the red boxes I added for effect).

Just wait until they pass the Cap n Trade bill. It requires that anyone selling a home get a license from the Fed Government to ensure it is up to EPA efficiency standards. These standards can be changed at a moments notice.

Good luck America.
