Special army unit ready to be deployed on American soil just before Nov. elections

In October of this year, one month prior to the November midterm elections, a special army unit known as 'Consequence Management Response Force' will be ready for deployment on American soil if so ordered by the President.

This afternoon a local radio talk show host reported that he had been in contact with a member of the military. This military source stated that the armed forces have been alerted to the strong possibility that civil unrest may occur in the United States this summer, prior to the midterm elections of 2010. The source described this as 'our long, hot summer of discontent' that could be eerily reminiscent of the summer of 1968 when riots broke out in many of our largest cities. However, the summer of 2010 could well be much worse due to the players involved. In 1968 the major players were war protesters. This time, the outrage simmering beneath the surface of American society involves a broad cross-section of the heartland, and most of them are heavily armed. It is highly unlikely that these citizens would ever initiate armed conflict of any kind. In their view, gun rights are for self-defense--and for defense against tyrannical government, which our Founders regarded as the most dangerous force on earth.

However, it has become clear that other groups may well initiate violence in order to start an 'incident' that would give Obama and a rogue Congress a reason to implement martial law, confiscate the citizens' guns, enforce curfews, and suspend all future elections until such time as it is deemed 'safe' to proceed with human liberty as encapsulated in the right to vote.

Nice to know but right now very unlikely to happen; however, it does have shades of Huga Chavez written all over it.

Not 'now'; but how about November 4th, 2010. . .

We know what they are capable of; who their mentors are; their historical models. . .we can remember Waco; we see the brutality ignored against innocent citizens; and the propagandizing of the most degraded of hatreds against American and honest citizens.

These people have no intention of giving up power - no way; and by any means they deem necessary; they will 'go there'. They are not the least bit concerned about our Constitution; our 'rule of law' and least of all; about the 'will' of the American People.

Turning on the lights makes the roaches scurry for cover. Exposing the plot before it happens makes it less likely to succeed.

Out of a force of about 80,000, there must be a few who are FReepers or related to us, who can inform us of the deployment plans.

Even the Democrats would never even consider using the US Military against US Citizens who are simply practicing their constitutional rights. I mean this has never, ever been done before and would be an impeachable offense! Even Clinton at Waco........... oh wait. Never mind.

CORRECTION:
A non-lethal crowd control package fielded to 1st Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, described in the original version of this story, is intended for use on deployments to the war zone, not in the U.S., as previously stated.

Widespread violence would greatly simplify Obama’s problems.

Something’s not right with this story. A Brigade does not have 80,000 soldiers - a huge number; that would make about 4 divisions. A brigade is usually around 5000 or 6000.

This is the same goofy stuff the leftist moonbats were constantly saying the Bush Administration was going to do.

This is an entirely different administration. If they think they can get away with it, they'll try it.

An old article, pretty vague as to what this group actually does.

I’m really not sure what to believe. There’s a large Army-Air Force base nearby and about a year ago I was at church talking to a guy who related some interesting things that he personally had observed. This wasn’t some rabid, wild eyed, gun totin’ rant, but just a calm, cool description of what he had personally seen.

He drives some of the roads along and around the military bases in his work, and has for years. Anyone around here who has driven them have seen tanks, armored carriers and lots of troops training. My house can be shaken as bad as an earthquake from the artillery practice and it’s quite a ways away.

Anyway, he described seeing troops with completely different uniforms/camo and different types of vehicles along the roads. He also said they were doing different types of movements and activities than he’s observed in the past.

I asked if it might just be new camo or vehicles and he said no, that it all looked like foreign stuff, not American and that he was aware of the new digital camo being issued. I didn’t get to question him much, but he was very matter of fact about it, and he had a military background, so it wasn’t that he was unfamiliar with that. He also emphasized that he drove those roads often and had done so for quite some time and all of this was very new and very different from what he’d seen in the past.

I wish I’d had more time to talk to him. I think I’ll try to look him up some Sunday if he’s there and get more info.

In the meantime, they’ll learn new skills, use some of the ones they acquired in the war zone and more than likely will not be shot at while doing any of it.

They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack.

Training for homeland scenarios has already begun at Fort Stewart and includes specialty tasks such as knowing how to use the “jaws of life” to extract a person from a mangled vehicle; extra medical training for a CBRNE incident; and working with U.S. Forestry Service experts on how to go in with chainsaws and cut and clear trees to clear a road or area.

The brigade will not change its name, but the force will be known for the next year as a CBRNE Consequence Management Response Force, or CCMRF (pronounced “sea-smurf”).

Republicans, RIOT during the summer? Surely they jest. Republicans “riot” after Labor Day by wearing white pants. Actually that’s not true. I can “run with scissors” anytime I want to.
