Being for America first is not ‘in’.

Not anymore, I rckon. Why is it that having an "America First" foreign policy has fallen out of vogue in so-called "conservative" circles?

Ron Paul is hardly America first. Many of his statements are anti-American.

Irrational fear, pride, not wanting to re-examine and admit we might need to head in a different direction. I really don’t know what it is. It is mind boggling how the conservative base became the biggest cheerleaders of invasion, expensive occupation, and a decade or so of nation building. Traditionally, this kind of folly was the purview of leftists.
