Bomb threat forces evacuation of president’s home

TALLINN — A 25-year-old man from Järvamaa allegedly made a bomb threat Wednesday evening to the Kadriorg Palace, the residence of Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, prompting an evacuation.
A man called the police at 8:56 p.m. Wednesday and announced that there is a bomb at the President’s office. The police searched the building and the surrounding but found no explosives.

This is the first time a bomb threat has been issued for the Kadriorg Palace, although it happens periodically at Estonian schools.
