I love my cat but he is kept inside. If my neighbor had cats and I could smell them when I went outside that would be gross. He keeps them in cages? How many does he have? Is there a law as to how many he can have?

You have to get that smell out of your yard. How do you do that with your neighbor breeding the smell and it is wafting your way? Once the smell is there, they will come. Once they pee and mark their territory others think it is home.

Do you have field mice in the area where they are eating well around your home? Does your house have a area they can find shelter? Like underneath your home?

I have heard of coyote urine. You could milk a coyote and spread it around your yard. Hee! Takes care of deer and rabbit too. Or order it online. *wink*

I have trained puppies to not dig by placing balloons in the yard with just a little dirt over them. They don’t dig for long. Doesn’t harm them but scares the bejeezus out of them.

Cats do not like aluminum foil. They also hate sticky. Like sticky tape.

The clear carpet runner to protect traffic areas in your home? You can buy at Lowes or Home Depot by the yard? Turn it upside down with the pointy things up. Cats hate it and won’t walk on it. Those are my inside tricks but I don’t know why they would not work in those special areas they like.

Look into cat unfriendly landscaping. Things with thorns or smelly plants they hate. If they hate oranges, grow orange trees. Orange rinds will keep the snails away too. Eucalyptus leaves, monkey balls, citronella.

They like you, they really like you! The electronic thing you placed only works if the cat has the collar on, no? Anyone who comes into your yard will get a shock?
