These cats are wild, they're not someone's pets. The law doesn't give a damn if I remove them from my property and release them elsewhere

They are not all wild...MOST were peoples pets and just abandoned or got lost. And, I would dare you to call your police station and ask them if they give a d@mn if you capture and relocate any animal. Hopefully, you'll learn something.

They are ALL wild as they are perhaps 4th, 5th or even 10th generation feral cats that have never belonged to anyone.

My police department handles animal control also and I’m certain they wouldn’t care though they would probably advise me to bring the cats in so they could be destroyed.

Here are my options...

a) I can capture and release them in a different location so they can live their lives w/o stalking and perhaps one day killing my expensive birds.

b) I can capture them and turn them over to the local animal shelter where, as they can never be adopted they would surely be destroyed.

c)I can be irresponsible and do nothing to protect my expensive pet birds and just hope one of these cats does not get them.

I’d prefer “A” but in honor of your ignorance I think I’ll go with option “B” from now on.

Have a nice day.
