It’s a fine nuance, but MAD was not just an insane revenge on the world, as our alternative to just “accepting getting nuked” as the writer implied.

The whole concept is precisely the opposite. It is that no nation will ever throw those nukes in the first place. Everyone knows that a launch on the USA, is actually basically launching on theirself. Pointless,, impossible to prevail.

And yes, this includes the “suicidal” muslims, North Koreans, etc. Iran wants a bomb so what happened to Saddam won’t happen to him. Israel is his excuse,,, but after the Iranians get their nuke, there will always be some reason why *today* isn’t the day they nuke Tel Aviv. If Kim Jong il was so “crazy and suicidal”, then why not launch a war against the south this afternoon? Nukes in hands of guys like these make them nearly impossible to invade and depose. (for the Obama justice department,,,”depose” as in overthrow,,not get interviewd by justice dept attorneys for prosecution)

The reason, is MAD. And theres a big difference between sending a few retards out with suicide belts,, and them ready to see Tehran and Mecca vaporized.

MAD is a lousy acronym, for a wise and effective policy. For the first time in world history, invasions are impossible against nations properly armed. No nuclear nation has been invaded or bombed that i know of since WWII.

As an example,, Russia was invaded by Germans, French or British every 25 years or so since 1800. Millions dead each time. Europe wouldnt dare now, and thats the main point.

Same for USA except we have always been protected by oceans, The only way to attack us was through an Obama.
