Remember that the criteria for judging these things has changed.

Rather than focusing on the unemployment rate, numbers of claims, etc., the liberals tell us that things would have been much worse without Porkulus and the enlightened policies of the Obama administration.

We’re supposed to talk about the numbers of jobs saved, not the numbers of jobs lost. We’re supposed to talk about where we would be without Porkulus spending allegedly saving so many jobs.

The jobs saved/created ruse is nothing but subjectivity from the Obama administration in lieu of objective stats.

And the few stats available show jobs that are more often than not temporary and jobs saved for union workers and gov’t employees.

BTW, it is kinda like a coach leading a college basketball team, a football team, whatever, to a horrible record at the end of the season.

The coach’s excuse? “Without me, this team would have done much worse.”

Just like Obama’s excuse.

Wait until next month’s report when all the thousands of people in RI file their unemployment claims, no waiting period either. RI already has a 13% unemployment rate and with all the businesses closed due to the historic flooding, I hate to imagine what the new % will be
