But yesterday, it was reported that McMillen was decoyed to attend a “fake prom,”

Seems like an appropriate place to take a “fake date”

Nut bullying, victimization. If the kid was an advocate for conservatism nothing would ever be said.

She had her own prom, the people who wanted to show up did, all seven of them. I agree, quit yer snivelling.

"But yesterday, it was reported that McMillen was decoyed to attend a "fake prom," that only seven other students attended. The rest of the class was partying in a "secret" location that was not made known to McMillen."

My understanding is that the prom McMillen attended was the one the school put on. The other students chose to host an alternate party and not invite her. I'd hardly call that 'bullying'. McMillen ruined it for everyone, and is now claiming victim status. Ridiculous. It's also more than a stretch to compare this to what Phoebe Prince endured. McMillen brought this all on herself.

Question: Do you think the school over-reacted by cancelling the prom?

Some of McMillen's supporters are calling for colleges around the country to revoke admission offers and scholarships from the students who attended the "secret" prom or started the hate group.

Just one example of how vicious the rabid haters on the left can be, the same sort who've published home addresses and phone numbers of conservatives with whom they have political disagreements. It was the sensible kids who attended the alternative prom after all the publicity and contentiousness that surrounded the original, traditional prom plans.

No half responsible or fair minded adult would even think of trying to harm a kid's college prospects in a situation the kids didn't create and in which it would be impossible to know what role any kid played or didn't play in this mess.

It wasn’t a “Secret Prom”. It was a private party known to all who were invited and she was not.

It is funny how these supposedly enlightened homos are so quick to infringe on these students’ rights to free speech, right to peaceful assembly, and right to free association.

I'm curious about the logic behind this statement: "People don't choose to be gay, but people do choose to be bigots"

Fear of outsiders is actually a useful evolutionary trait. Outsiders compete for food and water. Outsiders may carry diseases and the local population may not be immune. Outsiders require shelter. Outsiders want to reproduce. All of these extra demands add stress to the ecosystem. All of these extra demands threaten the locals' ability to propagate their species. From an evolutionary perspective, animosity for outsiders makes perfect sense.

Homosexuality, on the other hand, is guaranteed not to propagate the species. I get a laugh when homosexuals insist that their behavior results from genetics and evolution. There is no such thing as a child that is the product of a homosexual union. It's impossible for genetics to develop that way. But that's okay because reporters believe it. Following their reasoning, I suppose that there must also be a genetic predisposition to abortion, which women inherit from their parents.

I should stay out of biology classes, shouldn't I?

The point of this blogger is that this has now gone into cyberspace and cyberbullying. Death threats are being made towards Constance, and a few of her supporters are flinging threats at the school and prom organizers.

The whole thing has gotten ugly.

how do we know the threats are not fake?

iow, the left is prone to attacking themselves to gain victim status. (see homosexual agenda)

so now they claim agreived status and no they seek to ostracise the CHILDREN.

I don’t think the school over-reacted.

It is because we have gone along with this junk for as long as we have that it has even gotten to this point.

We need to send a firm NO, constantly, and not be budged.

This is the problem with focusing on self esteem and telling students to not fight back.
We used to train children to stand up for themselves, to understand that words were not the same as “sticks and stones.” Now, that concept is mocked, but what are the results? Teens going home and hanging themselves because of bullies. When in thew world did we never have bullies. Yeah, I agree, maybe today’s bullies are more vicious than those from days past, but then maybe the reason for that is they know their prey won’t fight back. Today in school, if you defend yourself from an attack you are considered just as guilty as the aggressor. They want the victim to fall down in a fetal position.
The focus should be on training people how to handle attacks and then there will be fewer victims.
