Despite all the BS floating around, here are the legal facts.
Natural Born means “citizen at moment of birth” or “citizen by circumstances of birth.” Natural Born does not mean Native Born, for even some people born within the geographic US are not Natural Born citizens.
The other type of citizen is Naturalized, “to be made as if Natural.”
Obama qualifies LEGALLY even if born in Kenya. See Title 8, sec 1401 US Code, due to his mother.
His real problem then is twofold. If born in Kenya, he has been lying to us for years about it.
His legal problem is, he traveled throughout the Middle East when he did not have a US passport. What country's passport did he have?
Most countries require a person to swear allegiance to that country to get a passport. So, what country was that? By swearing allegiance to that country, did he voluntarily give up his US citizenship?
If he gave it us, by declaration or action, then he is not a citizen at all, because he never applied after that to be naturalized.
It's complicated.

Hmmm - I disagree with you. If he was born in Kenya, his mother was not old enough to grant him US citizenship at all, what to speak of being natural born. From what I have read (and been reading these threads since summer 08), in order to be natural born he needs two citizen parents and born on US soil.
We disagree, and I am convinced that I am right.
